DES (1-3) IGF-1 is a modified, advanced and even more effective version of the IGF-1 hormone, featuring approximately over 10 times stronger activity and effects than the regular IGF-1! DES (1-3) IGF-1 is primarily designed for the muscle mass building and is intended for the use immediately pre-workout and post-workout.
It is no secret that IGF-1 is naturally produced in the liver and partially also in other tissues, however, the natural concentration of this hormone is insufficient for the achieving desired muscle gain targets. DES (1-3) IGF-1 is a new generation of IGF-1, shifting its level and efficacy significantly further. Its popularity among sportsmen and enthusiasts wishing to gain muscle mass as soon as possible has been rapidly growing day by day.
The efficiency of DES (1-3) IGF-1 is not disputed as sportsmen report excellent outcomes. DES (1-3) IGF-1 has very potent anabolic effects – it stimulates amino acid metabolism in the body (by increasing the protein synthesis), increases the RNA synthesis, promotes fat metabolism, as well as glucose transport and it exhibits also anti-catabolic activity (protecting muscle mass against wasting). IGF-1 has the ability to stimulate hyperplasia – the growth of new cells – and in addition, it has the ability to bind to lactic acid receptors, which enables to produce new muscle tissues directly during workout and not only post-workout.

+ Due to its short half-life, DES (1-3) IGF-1 preferentially affects the local muscle groups where it was injected (this may be a valuable feature when making effort for the development or the preferential improvement of a certain (e.g. lagged behind) muscle group. IGF-1 LR3 acts more globally, thus in the whole body and more proportionally on all muscle groups.

When taken according to recommendations, DES (1-3) IGF-1 has no side effects. The recommended dosing is 20-50 mcg of DES (1-3) IGF-1 per injection (to be administered into the muscle). The dosing frequency is typically 3-5 per day, although due to its short half-life, DES (1-3) IGF-1 can be theoretically administered as often as every 20 minutes, if desired (though from a practical point, this is almost impossible, not to mention costly). The dose administered approximately 5 minutes prior to training can be considered the most crucial (it can help ensure initiation of the production of new muscle mass as early as within a training period), the following doses may be administered post-training. Regarding the treatment duration using DES (1-3) IGF-1, this can be chosen individually and may range between 4-12 weeks. In this case, a break in the duration of 5 weeks is recommended.
The second method of administration involves using PEG-MGF & DES (1-3) IGF-1 in conjunction to interact in synergy (where both products link the processes of proliferation and differentiation), with the goal of optimizing the final process of hyperplasia in the target muscle. Using this method, PEG-MGF is administered alone for the first 1-4 weeks, followed by the administration of DES (1-3) IGF-1 for an equal number of weeks. It should be noted that both sportsmen and scientists are still learning and studying how to optimally use this drug in this case.
